Seniors, have you filled out your FAFSA ???
*If not, note the following information as it relates to receiving financial aid from your college institution after graduation
Q. What is the FAFSA?
A. F.A.F.S.A. stand for Free Application for Federal Student Aid . Prospective College Students and Current College Students complete the FAFSA to determine their eligibility for Financial Aid.
Q. When Do I Fill Out the FAFSA?
A. To be considered for federal student aid for the 2017-2018 award year, you can complete the FAFSA starting OCTOBER1st
****Each college and university has their individual deadlines, most of which can be found on their website or by contacting an admissions counselor.
Use the search tool provided by fafsa.edu.gov as a start point:

A. Visit https://fafsa.ed.gov/index.htm to get started on your FAFSA Application.
Important Things to Note:
- The FAFSA will be available each year on October 1st: This will need to be completed annually to continue to receive financial aid throughout your college career.
- You will use earlier income and tax information: Prior-Prior year information will be used to determine your Aid: For the 2017-2018 school year, 2015 taxes will be used to complete the FAFSA.
- If you are undecided on what school you are going to apply to, list any schools that you are considering. If you decide on a school that you did not list on the FAFSA, you can log back in at fafsa.gove and add those schools.
